About This Project
Leave management sounds like a solved problem until you're running 300 people across multiple time zones with different employment contracts, public holiday calendars, and accrual policies. Our previous system required HR to manually calculate balances in a spreadsheet — every quarter. oDesk built us a leave management SaaS with real-time balance tracking, a self-service booking flow, a team wallchart, and manager approval workflows that actually make sense. Employees can see their exact balance in seconds. Managers approve or decline in one tap. HR now spends their time on actual people work, not spreadsheet maintenance. The dashboard is the cleanest internal tool we've shipped in a decade.
